Another Fantastic Weekend...
This past weekend was also spent in Bowral, this time for Anna's 21st. It was a fantastic party, which did continue into the next day, and I can't say that I really wanted to come home, but sometimes we have to do things we don't want to.
The party was black and white themed, and there was a lot of people there. The birthday cake looked superb - it was white chocolate and raspberry - yum!!! There was dancing (by us anyway, but not the girls from school...) and we went to bed at a time somewhere around the two mark.
On Sunday, we got up for a beautiful breakfast outdoors on a glorious Highlands day, overlooking the back garden, then we went into Bowral and browsed the shops, and had lunch and said our goodbyes... And then made the 3hrs 55mins trip back to Wagga to get back just in time for Church (we didn't even stop to swap drivers!!).
Before the party on Saturday, we went bowling with Trina and Dave for Trina's birthday... Next time I go bowling at an AMF place, I am going to take an under 10 year old, just so I can use bumpers... It was quite evident that I haven't been bowling for sometime... Also the fact that I don't bowl normally might have a touch of something to do with it... I lost both games...
Anyway... there's the update, Granny Be!! And the post that I had to make Jonny! You can both not say that I have to update for atleast a week, okay??!!

What a weekend!!!
Wow!! I have had the best weekend!! It was very tiresome, but incredibly enjoyable.
It was my best friend (and her fiance)'s engagement party on Saturday afternoon, which was really nice. Fantastic to catch up with some friends from school, and great to catch up with camp friends who I miss so much!!
We left the engagement party early so that I could make it to my sister's 21st party on Sydney Harbour some-what on time... Dad omited an instruction, so I ended up having to drive through the city, but that's okay. It was a harbour cruise on an old Sydney ferry, which was really nice. I joined the other 9 onboard at 6, and cruised around the different bays for about an hour and half before heading back up to Lane Cove where the cruise had actually started from. It was so peaceful, and very enjoyable. Then I went and had a look at my sister, her partner & her partner's sister's apartment, met their cat, then took my grandparents back to Padstow, where we were staying the night.
Then, the next morning, we went back to Bowral to one of my old Church's. I got to see all my old youth leaders, some of the youth, a couple of my past teachers, and even more camp friends... Two of my youth leaders now have a third child, who is 6 months old (I didn't even know they were having a third...)... Then we went out for lunch to a cafe in Springett's arcade, before going to have a look at where Anna & Scott's wedding reception is going to be - it looks stunning!!!
But then it was time to head back to Wagga in time for Church... I only drove from Syd-Bowral-Goulbourn before Steve took over... But I only slept for 30 mins... Every time I started to drift off after that he would start talking to me... I atleast let him sleep from Moss Vale to Goulbourn!!
Anyway... That was my weekend... So thankful to God for good experiences, and the opportunities to catch up with fantastic friends!!!

And in excess of two months on...
I had a kids program at Tumut this weekend - it went really well (from my prospective) - the kids looked gorgeous standing up the front in the last session today singing If I Were A Butterfly with their faces painted. We had a focus on creation and looked at various things that God made.
Last week I had a week off work, so I went on a driving holiday seeing some parts of Victoria. I didn't get lost!! I headed off Sunday afternoon after Wagga Baps (after deciding just before songleading that morning that I was going to be spontanious and go then rather than Tuesday morning as was originally planned...) and I got back 8.45pm Friday, to prep and pack for the kids program!! I went to Ballarat on Sunday night, Warnambool (going along the Great Ocean Rd to get there) on Monday night, Frankston for Tues/Wed nights, saw Third Day in concert Wed night before heading back to Ballarat on Thursday night to eat pancakes from Pancake Kitchen and play ultimate frisbee, and sit and cut out flowers, and as I had already stated, came back to Wagga on Friday. It was a bit of a whirlwind trip, but it was great. I got to be called Aunty Kylie by my second cousin's kids (well, the 2 and a half year old... the 10 month old kinda can't talk yet... The older one couldn't get her tongue around "Kylie" so it was more of a "Kyla") and I hadn't seen the younger one before, so that was nice. I went to the beach at Warnambool (had pizza on the beach for dinner) and at somewhere near Frankston, but didn't go swimming properly either visit (Frankston I put my feet in).
Anyway... Other news - Anna got engaged to Scott last Wednesday - I had a tear in my eye as she told me... I am soooo excited!!!!
Uni people have started coming back (one was back at Church tonight) and they will continue to dribble (probably not literly) until the weekend before O-week, or just before classes start. It is three weeks til O-week. UniChurch is kicking off at 7pm next week, so that will be good.
Other than that, there isn't anything standoutish to say right now in my state of complete tiredness... I just got a message (or two) so yeah. Night.

Granny Be asked for a Sunday Update but it is Tuesday.
I have a cramp in my foot. My non-broken foot. But I don't know if my foot is still broken... I have had very minimal pain in that foot since Sunday... Saturday night actually...
What does a Sunday Update look like? I have no idea. But this is a Tuesday Update anway...
We had a Biblestudy Brunch on Saturday morning... The last Biblestudy thing for 2006... We had bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes (maple flavoured, plain and blueberry flavoured... All out of a bottle :D) and fresh fruit which was sooo yummy. And there was also bread to me made into toast for those that could be bothered. And juice too. And maison and apple cider stuff. Cos apparently you can't have a brunch without having champagne, or imitation champagne.
Sunday morning at Sunday School (I am teaching Sunday School @ WWBC this term... It is almost over) we decorated "Schmoo's"... They would be gloves filled with flour turned upside down... And then we stuck ears on them... The Bible story was the Golden Calf and how the Israelites didn't listen to Moses, who was a messenger from God. But we should listen to the messengers that God has given us (teachers, parents, preachers etc)... On the back of the Schmoo's we wrote "Give me an ear to hear"... The kids enjoyed putting texta all over the gloves...
Sunday night was the last UniChurch of 2006... It was rather sad to be saying goodbye to graduating students... Especially in November... It is weird saying Merry Christmas in November too... We didn't really say that too much... Christmas cards will go out in the next couple of weeks I suppose...
Um... What else?? I have no idea.
That looks good enough for a Tuesday Update. Hope you are all doing well...

Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.Take the quiz

The Idea of North are coming to Wagga!!!
I just read the best news (and I am glad that I read it rather than had someone attempt to tell me... I can't hear at the moment... The TV is on volume 40 [generally sits on 20] so I can hear it)...
The Idea of North are coming to Wagga!!!
(If you have never heard of them, they are a brilliant a capella group, and even if a capella music isn't exactly your scene, it is worth going to see these guys because their stage presence is fantastic!)

So long...
I am kinda getting a bit sick of "this is what I did" type posts, but can't really think of anything to rave about, so it is going to be somewhat of an update...
I have pernament work... I am working at a doctor's surgery (can't say which one cos then it will come up in a google) as a medical receptionist... 5 days a week, full time... Very busy and very full-on, and very enjoyable.
Still at Wagga Baps... This weekend is the grande opening of the extensions... They have built on a new hall with various rooms, and a new kitchen!! (Very amazing and exciting considering the old kitchen... Tonight after youth group we were exclaiming how aweful the old fridge looks in the new kitchen, where as in the old kitchen it looked right at home...)
Still at UniChurch too... Am quite over uni holidays at the moment... Only one more week to go... Can't wait for Biblestudy to start again... We are studying the book of James... I have been trying to avoid it during my quiet times, but I finished 2 Tim last night, so I am not sure where to go tonight...
I injured my shoulder about a month ago... I can't play indoor netball for another month (hey! we won medals in the last season!!) and can't do anything like go-karting (I have had two opportunities to) for atleast another 2 months... The risk of re-injury is too high... And my boss doesn't want to give me another cortisone injection because I "am so young!" "Shouldn't be having to have injections for pain!" Anyway...
Um... That's about it in really brief news... I am babysitting tomorrow morning, so I should get a shuffle on to bed... Night!

We won, but we lost...
I have some work. Dept. Primary Industries again, cutting wheat grass with scissors again... Fun... (I'm being sarcastic here people!!) But, it is work!
Anyway, I'm really tired, I have a big week ahead of me, and I have had an emotionally-draining evening... Almost time for bed.

Also!!
Maybe a fair and square win this week?!
(We are playing @ 8.30 on Wednesday night if you want to pray for us!!)
What a month!
I don't really remember what happened at the beginning of this month, so I'll start from before then...
The weekend of Easter, Mum and Dad and a whole group of people from Wagga Baps and those connected to Wagga Baps went camping at Tumbarumba. It was cold. I went up for the day on Saturday, and I froze.
The weekend after, I went to Bowral on the Friday afternoon/night for Anna's 20th dinner, and the Saturday afternoon/night I went to Wollongong for Catriona's birthday dinner!! Both were really nice, and I was so glad that I was able to be there for them.
(I really should open outlook calender or drag out my diary...)
Weekend of the 6th/7th May was 5pm Mystery Weekend Away. We ended up at Ariah Park. It was a really good weekend. I did a lot of washing up, but that's alright, because that is when you have good conversations with people. AND I didn't get tea-towel whipped. Bonus!
The next weekend was WINGS (Women IN Gospel Sharing) in Wagga and Tristan's 20th on the Saturday. And Jen's 21st on Saturday too. All were really good. I went 4-wheeler riding at Tristan's place... Everyone else was betting as to whether I would leave the fences intact or not...
Last weekend was the WWBC Mystery Car Drive on the Saturday. We ended up at the Tutty's farm.
Thursday was my birthday. A group of us went out to Hog's Breath for dinner, and then more than a few went to 374 and played Cranium and ate ice-cream. (Skittles and ice-cream don't work. They freeze and go really hard. Sour worms also don't work.)
Last night was Pete's 21st. It was really fun. Lots of party games (and I wasn't even there for the whole time...) and pool and pingpong and talking, and 20 Questions and back massages, and head massages too (thanks guys!!), good conversations, and a really nice night. I got home at 10 to 2 this morning. Hehe.
What else??
I have had 6 weeks of work since the beginning of this year. 3 weeks at CSU in Student Services, and 3 weeks at Dept. Primary Industries cutting wheatgrass with a pair of scissors. Am still looking for work.
Been more than a bit stressed the past two weeks, for a few different reasons... But yeah. The end of this week has been better.
Mum has been off on sick leave since Monday afternoon and doesn't go back to work until Thursday (at this stage).
We have finished the book of Romans in Biblestudy (well, the studies that were in the book anyway)... We had two social events in that time... Dinner at Pete & Sarah's (and Jasmine & Ethan's too!) place (staff worker and his wife, and their kids) and then we had a bring-a-plate dinner at Nay's place the week after. There was also a Film Review night on that night for CF @ the Tav, which is why we met earlier and had dinner together.
Anyway. That's the month in a real nutshell. What have you guys been doing??

So what to say...
(And now I have a Tina Arena song stuck in my head.)
So what has been happening lately?
O-Week was last week, and CF had a few events after training on Monday and Tuesday. Both the training and the events were great, and I for one am really encouraged by the number of first years that came to every event, and rocked up for 7pm service on Sunday night. And also encouraged by those first years that rocked up for Church who I hadn't seen through the week (that's not to say that they weren't there, I just didn't see them). And O-Week being O-Week, and CF being CF, there had to be something a bit out of the usual...
That's Steve in the wig on the right, and Mark on the left. And that's an incredibly blurring photo... I think I was laughing. I'm not sure.
Other than that, I've had a few job interviews, but as yet no job offers. So the hunt continues. What fun.
I'm song leading this week at Wagga Baps.
Happy Birthday to Nat and Steve, even if we did celebrate your birthdays more than a month late.
And Happy Birthday to Mum for today, and Luke for yesterday.

Kinda an edit, but not really...
I cooked my first every roast-meat meal tonight... We had roast beef with mashed potato and salad... The roast beef had minced garlic, parsley, thyme and oregano on it... Next time I am going to score the meat, so that it goes further in, and put red wine in it too (red wine and garlic beef is really nice) and then I might also use the meat juices for the gravy instead of gravox stuff... Everyone else enjoyed it... I thought it was alright, but could have been better... Oh well... I have time to improve it before serving it up to some UniChurch @ 7pm friends!! (hint hint! There is a roast waiting for you guys when you decide to rock back into town and come over for dinner...)
Australian's all let us rejoice...
Started off going for a river float with my parent's and their some of Biblestudy group and a couple of extras... Went from Wagga Beach Rocks to Warradjuri (spelling?)... Then I went to Bolton Park to watch the end of the UniChurch cricket game. Team B won. I got to add up their runs, and as I was doing so, I got bitten by a green ant on my knee... That was rather painful... Made me feel a bit ill too. Went to KFC and got some take-away lunch and then headed back to Wagga Beach for a picnic lunch (hence the KFC) and then went for a dip at the beach before heading back up to the rocks to get in for another float... That was after following a few of the UniChurch guys carrying a kids' inflatable paddling pool up the very rocky and painful path... I had the water hammock... Was very relaxing, and they didn't try and chuck me out. Got out at the beach, and headed straight back to the rocks for another float... Did that a few more times too... The last time we had the kids' pool, and after re-blowing it up at the rocks, I slipped as I was getting in, and skinned all the back of my right ankle... By the time I got down to the beach, there was blood all over my foot, and then when I got to my towel, there was dirt all over it too... Went to wash it off, went back to where the group was, and there was dirt all over it again... Argh! Gave up. Sat and talked to a few people (can't remember who was on the other side of the table, so I won't mention any names, just to be on the safe side) and then we decided to pack up and to head to Estella to either watch the cricket at Jon's or to watch movie's at Sonja's. I went via Coles with Viv to Jon's place (they wanted food to watch the cricket with)... Dropped Viv off, rocked up to Jon's, handed over the food. Every head in the room turned to look at me with expressions of "You are female. What are you doing here to watch cricket?" so I decided that instead of staying and most likely being bagged out or picked on or whatever, that I would go to Sonja's and watch movies with the girls. So I went around to Sonja's, and there was no-one else there, so I took the very looong way home (so I could listen out for Sam on jjj hotest 100) and had a sleep (once I got home... not on the drive home...) Then I went to a Riverina Christian Convention Kids (RCC Kids) meeting at the Lister's.
Then last weekend, (as in the one just been) I went to Tumut for RCC Kids... It was fantastic!! We had a theme of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe... Jane's secret for the weekend was "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is all about Jesus." - Great way for the kids to grasp the whole concept of the program... Jane was directing this year (she did last year too, but I didn't go last year) and I am directing next year... I am planning on brainstorming for the next 3-4 months about a theme, and then going from there to write the program/come up with crafts/games/memory verses... Talking about memory verses... I presented the Sunday morning memory verse... 2 Cor 5:17 (Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone and the new has come.)... I did each word on a piece of a purple catapillar (Mum and I were sick of cutting out circles when we finished making the catapillar) and the front one had antlers and eyes and then I got the kids to find which one had the fullstop, and then asked them where it might come in the verse, and they were able to tell me that it came at the end of the sentence (these kids were as young as 4 [Toby] and went up to yr 2)... I didn't notice until afterwards that there would have been two words with fullstops attached... They got the right one anyway... Then I handed them each a circle of catapillar and then we put it all in order, and the reference was on a red butterfly... I took a photo of the finished verse, but I haven't downloaded it yet.
Um. Other stuff that has been happening/is going to happen...
-I have a job interview tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4pm for a receptionist position at a local law firm.
-Sam came back into town on Sunday. I am spelling my name with a capital "Q" this year. (Ask Sam.)
-Rosie and Andrew get married this Saturday... I still haven't finished their present yet... Must get to that...
-Other stuff too, but I can't say anything yet, cos I don't know that the other people involved know that it is happening.
Yeah... I think that's about it. My knees are cramping up.
Was this a long enough update for you, Granny Be?

Told You So!
What I didn't tell you is that today I helped some friends move, and I am absolutely exhausted. Have already slept a couple of hours on the couch, and am about to return to the land of nod.
Hope Snr B/A was awesome those who went... And I want to hear further tales re: Jnr B/A.
This is the second posting of the challenge.
Goodnight.

The Challenge.
Speaking of challenges, seeing that it is camp time, and last year after camp there was challenges set, it is time to set some new challenges. But at the moment I don't have any ideas. So thats all good.
Um.
I went to Wagga Beach last night. After Church. For the first time ever, I went floating from Wagga Beach Rocks to Wagga Beach, twice. And the current was the fastest it has ever been since I have lived in Wagga (just shy of 3 years now - it seems so long, and yet so short...). And the water was cold. But it was good. A great way to spend a summer evening with friends. I hurt my feet on the rocky path though... It was very painful. They are still sore.
Tonight I am going to Alice & Andrej's place, which is where Drew & Esther are staying at the moment, for a BBQ and swim in the pool. I have to make some fudge before then though, so I had better go!

The Fish Are Dead....
Very sad... The fish are dead. Well, all except for three (Crumbed, Grilled and Battered are still alive)... They died on the same day that I woke up late for work, and the same day that I handed in my notice at work. That all happened on Wednesday 14th Dec. I worked up until and including the 30th Dec, and yeah... Now I am job hunting again...
Granny Be set me a challenge (I haven't had a challenge for ages and ages!) to post in my blog twice before she gets back from a fortnight at camp (which starts for the leaders this Saturday afternoon)... I'm not going to camp this year: chances are that I wouldn't have been able to get holidays, and now I can't really afford to go anyway...
I was looking at going to uni this year, but after talking to a few people, I found that the only way I could go was to pay $1100 per subject for either 2, 4 or 8 subjects this year, and then hopefully transfer into a HECS place... And that's just not fesible at this stage...
Did you have a nice Christmas? What about new year? For Christmas I went to my Mum's parent's place at Coleambally for lunch, dinner and stayed the night. I went to UniChurch on Christmas eve, and then Wagga Baps on Christmas morning. When I returned to Wagga on boxing day, I went straight to the movies to see Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. That was really good. Then for NYE, I went to a murder mystery party at Sheridan's place with some others from UniChurch... My character was Spinner... It was a great night - and I'm planning on doing a Murder Mystery party sometime this year...
The photos are from the CF End of Year dinner which was early November... The first one is of "the gang" (as Cathy referred to us as...) and the second is of the Biblestudy group I was in.
Anyway... There is post 1 of 2 complete... The other one will be sometime in the next fortnight...

Update
Wednesday, November 09, 2005
I really should be updating more regularly...
Well... I can't remember what the last update said, so here goes...
I got a new car. Holden Astra TS 2003 model. Silver, manual hatch. It is really nice! It doesn't have a name yet though. I need your opinion: Edna or Dora.
I got a transfer. Now working at Tolland on Mon-Thurs and Turvey in the Webster Room on Fridays. I no longer have to work on Saturdays! Brilliant!!
I got a new CD last Thursday. The new Emu Live 2. I already know most of the words... Opps!! My new car has a CD player, so that is where that CD has lived!
The past couple of weeks have had brilliant Word of the Weeks... My favourite has been Handbag. This week, there is no Word of the Week. It is the Word of the Year!! But I don't know what it is...
There is only two weeks left of Biblestudy for 2005... And then next year we all get put into different groups!! We had our last "complete" Biblestudy this past Monday night... There was quite a few people not there, but oh well. We had a party (at Sam's suggestion) and we played Pin the Tail on the Donkey (or stick the sticker onto Naomi's wall) and wore party hats and/or masks.
Saturday night was CF End of Year Dinner... It was great! My camera took lots of photos... I finished off and presented the "Year in Review" photo presentation... I found out about it at about 9 on the Friday night, left Amy's place at 1.10am Sat, went home, did more work on it, woke up at 8.10 on Sat morning, did more work on it, went to a Hen's Party at 11 and was really unsocialible and did more work on it there (that's where Sonja looked over it and gave it the okay) and then went home a fixed a few gliches. THEN when I got to the Commercial Club (I was there early to set up the projector etc) I realised that I hadn't fixed all the gliches, so I did some more there! Everyone else enjoyed it, I kept criticising it... Oh well... If I do it again next year, I want to give myself more time! And more material to work with!
Um... Other than that, there isn't a whole lot more to say. Bit boring really. I have been really busy, but doing not a whole lot that stands out...
Have a good *insert time period here* until I next post...

Hey!
Monday night was Biblestudy - Daniel in the Lion's Den. Good study. About how God has everything under control, and how we need to trust Him and give everything over to Him to deal with.
Thursday night Small Group (all five of us) were here for dinner... We had french onion chops, mashed potato, squash, carrots, beans, broccoli and zucchini... AND then for desert, we had chocolate brownies, with vanilla icecream, hot chocolate fudge sauce and strawberries... Yum!! I did take a few photos of Steve's artistic talent in arranging the strawberries, but I am yet to download and then upload them...
Yesterday (Saturday) I didn't go to work, but I did go to Riverina TWIST (The Word In Song Together)... It was a really good day. I went to the "how to play in a group and how to make a group sound good" workshop... The concept that was covered (utilise the instruments - not all instruments have to play at all times) wasn't new information, but to see it demonstrated and to be part of the demonstration was very helpful (Ancient of Days is never going to be the same at UniChurch again!)... I also ordered the new EMU Music CD which is being released in three weeks time - we sang some songs off it in the afternoon, and they appeared to be really easy and they sounded fantastic. I'm looking forward to it.
Other than that, my week has been filled with work, which is where I am about to go after I publish this, make fudge and change my jumper. It is our grand opening today, so I suppose I should be there for atleast some of it (it started at 2.30, but the main bit starts at 4 with the ribbon cutting...)
Side note: I don't like this week's WotW... I haven't a clue how to pronounce it. Sorry Sam. Your conditioner may be all cool and all that, but I don't know how to say that chemical, or even what it does! (Don't try and tell me it is in conditioner and is the pivital ingredient - it's the last one in the list!)... Do check out tomorrow's WotW... No idea what it is, but hopefully it can be pronounced with greater ease than this week's word. :)

What a feral photo!!
CrossOver's annual formal event took place last Friday night in the formal of a dessert night. Death By Chocolate. I say it was a sucess. I was all chocolated out (until it came time on Sunday afternoon to make fudge and brownies for UniChurch and work and Bug...)... Kylie G was wandering around with my camera for most of the night... That is one discusting photo!
In other news, I got a promotion at work on Wednesday. I am now the Shift Manager Saturdays 9-2... I have been there three weeks and two days. How cool is that?!?!
Anyway... It's late. For a pre-work night anyway. And I have to get up early to make fudge for tomorrow night's Cafe` Church at Wagga Baps. Dreamtree are coming back to Wagga, and they are performing at a Cafe` Church at Wagga Baps tomorrow night.

Another Update!!
I kinda feel like battling with my computer and my dial up internet... Let's try for some more photos...
That one (the only one that I can now be bothered doing... I got a bit carried away writing an email... Half an hour ago I started this blog post...) is of the moon.

This past week or two or three...
I know I haven't updated for ages. (Sorry Granny Be.) So here it all is...
(I had a list of what to blog about, but that list is over on my desk, and I am in my bed... And I'm not getting up!!)
Firstly, congratulations to Monica from gush ... She became a Mum last Sunday. Little Mikey J - 7 pound 14. 11:51am... That's about all the details that I know...
I had a fish die last Wednesday/Thursday... It would have died on Wednesday, but it got the flush on Thursday (Naomi and Eleanor were going to take it home and disect it, but it was only small and they wouldn't have been able to see much...) It was one of the two nameless comets... So now there is one comet, two fantails and three feeder fish. Five of the six are named. Any suggestions for the one that isn't named? (It's a comet.)
Um...
I finished up at Riverina Media Group last Friday (as in two days ago)... I was there for three weeks and three days, and I really enjoyed it. It was only a temporary position, hence why it was very short term. I was in the advertising department... Driving proofs to clients, designing display ads using scissors and glue and the photocopier, getting coffees, taking lots and lots of photos... It was really good, and really varied.
I start my new job at Capital Chemist on Tuesday. The Glenfield store doesn't actually open until the 12th, but I have to learn the computer system first.
Tomorrow I am going for my green P's... I don't know whether I will get them... I haven't looked at the book or done any of the online tests... That's at 10am.
I am also on supper tomorrow night for Biblestudy... There has been a request for brownies and carrot/celery/cheese/cabonosi/jatz/dip... I took brownies and fudge to UniChurch tonight... They were muchly liked...
I was on music at UniChurch last week and this week. Tonight I took my keyboard along, because it doesn't buzz like the CF keyboard does... Tonight was also the AGM for CF... And then I was meant to do the pack up... But everyone pitched in and helped... (Thanks!!)
Um.
I cooked lemon and parsley chicken with mashed potatoes and salad and attempted a mudcake on Thursday night. Steve, Wayne, Eleanor and Naomi came over for dinner. (They got lost... Again.) It was very yum, even if the mud cake wasn't overly successful...
I can't remember what else was on the list, so this much will do.
Don't forget to atleast have a look at the WotW on Sam's blog... You don't have to leave a comment, but it would be nice if you did. (Just like here too...)
Sorry Granny Be, no pics just yet... I will get there... There is a few amusing ones of Steve on Thursday night, but I really think I would be shot if I was to put them up here... So no photos of that... I will find some others to put up here sometime soonly.

Happy Birthday to Me!
I got my birthday present from my parents on Thursday afternoon. A Fuji Finepix S5500... It is very nice... It has basically been permanently attached to my face whilst I haven't been at work (although, I did take it to work on Friday...)
And seeing that I told Granny Be I would update with photos, here are some photos...
(There are only two because I can't be bothered waiting for blogger to get its act together and do a reasonably quick upload... There is another 13 at my msn my space site: Talk to me on msn for that url (I don't know how to put it here without giving you my link which gives you deletion and addition rights...)

An Update...
Well, today is Tuesday. That means that yesterday was Monday. Monday means that there is a new WotW around... And although this week's word kind of breaks all the rules, it is still a pretty good word. Nice work Sam. If you don't yet know the word, check it out at Sam's Word of the Week, and make sure you leave a comment. (I don't like being the only comment-leaver...)
Also yesterday being Monday meant that it was Biblestudy. We looked at Daniel 2, reading it as a play, with a narrator, Daniel, King Nezzer, some guy, and the Chaldeans. That was pretty cool. We had to draw King Nezzer's dream in pairs on the back of the study sheet (it was a competition too)... Steve is now the proud owner of a ball of brown packing tape. (I didn't want to bring it home, and I feel that the packing tape would have been rather sad to have been attacked with a pair of scissors, so I told Steve to leave my half intact with the other half...) Sam did "Frog in a Pond"s for supper... They were really cool!! And I got told that I should have bought chocolate fudge with me... (the one week that I don't bring it!)... Oh well.
Today, being Tuesday, was a rather good day. I did childminding this morning at Wagga Baps, and at the conclusion of such, I got a phonecall from Workforce on Tap, telling me about a temp job that has come up, starts tomorrow, and would I like it. I said yep. So I have a job for the next month, starting tomorrow at Riverina Media Group in the advertising department. I am rather happy!!
Tonight I returned to Girls' Brigade to tell the Seniors all about digital photography... I don't know how much they took in, but yeah... I have to go back in a few weeks to help them understand editting photos... Not that I edit my photos a whole lot... I also started with the batches of chocolate fudge that I said I would bring to the Jesus Awareness Weekend Coffee & Dessert night next Monday night... For around 110 people...
Tomorrow night I have the first Small Group for 40 Days of Purpose... I am in a group that is meeting out at the Uni, and with a group of people that go to both Wagga Baps and UniChurch (just like me!!)... At the moment, there is Tristan, Nat, Steve, Eleanor and myself. (Eleanor doesn't go to Wagga Baps though...) There is a few others who are also reading The Purpose Driven Life who are thinking about coming along to our Small Group. I am planning on making brownies tomorrow afternoon for supper, but I don't know that I'll get there... Finish work at 5, Small Group starts at 8 (Mum and Dad's starts at 7) and I have to cook and eat dinner sometime in there too...
Well, life seems pretty busy, but it is also good. I need to somehow get into contact with someone from Sonlight and tell them that I am unable to make it for atleast the next 4 weeks... I should probably do that before I forget, hey?
Anyway... I should think about heading to bed. I bought a new book today (with a gift voucher I got given a few weeks ago) [The Wedding Date... I want to read it before I see it] and so I think I might start reading it.
Goodnight all!
